I want to talk to you about calling down the moon. I had heard of this technique but had no idea about how to do it or what to expect but I will share my experience of it.
I had been feeling a little under the weather - correction - I had been feeling terrible! I was constantly tired, and had been lacking motivation in every area of my life.
I felt stuck, exhausted and fed up! I had been the doctors, had blood tests but everything was normal. I however did not feel normal!
One evening I decided to run my self a bath with lavender and
bath salts. And I relaxed I called down the moon in my mind. I asked her to make the water I was lying In to have healing energies.
As I submerged myself into the water I imagined every drop soaking into my skin, healing me from the inside out. I imagined it healing and clearing my chakras and meridians. I imagined the moon infused water healing my organs, my blood cells, my nervous system.
I focused on the water giving my healing which pulsated through my whole being. Even my hair and nails and skin.
The next day.....
I awoke. The bath seemed a distant memory after my restless nights sleep. As I stood the pain I felt in my body was almost unbearable. My shoulders, throat and back ached more than I can ever remember. I could hardly walk a few steps before having to sit again.
Over the next three days my symptoms worsened. A migraine like
never before put pressure In my head. I awoke late afternoon and
went for a walk. On my return home I slept again until the next day.
The pain was intense! But a few days later I awoke. This time not only feeling energised but I had a whole new optimistic outlook of my life. I started to notice every noise more clearly, I felt fresh and revitalised.
My body had gone through a three day healing crisis, relieving me of any toxins that were making me lethargic. The moon had used her healing to strengthen my body from the inside out.
I now call the moon down with caution, as I know now a healing crisis is very likely to occur. But I am so greatful for my experiences of the moons awesome healing abilities.
"Oh moon goddess, hear my plea,
Use your healing energy
To remove the toxins in my body
So I may enjoy life more fully"
